I clicked on an add here in DVinfo Forum for a case manufacturer and seen that they make a case for the H4N:

It looks nice. Anybody have experience with this case?

I actually have one, there are hooks and loops to attach on almost any type of bag or shoulder strap etc... one of the best features is that you can mount it on a boom pole and work totally independent.
Very well thought out, and finally makes the H4n a workable portable recorder for the real world.

I don't have a case for mine, but I just got a Manfrotto Super Clamp with the brass stud that has a 1/4" thread which fits the Zoom H4n. Clamp it right to the boom pole and split the shotgun mic cable with a Y splitter to run into both inputs on the Zoom. If you have the firmware updates, you can dial one input hot and one lower as a safety track. Pretty sweet rig to go with something like the 5D MKII.

The company that makes them is Strut Cases....
They advertise on this forum, here is a link to them and just ask about the Zoom H4n case.
