I've been eagerly awaiting the release of Gradiest, the virtual control surface for First Light on iPad, since it was announced, but there has been no news of it's release even though the website says it was supposed to be released around summer 2010. Does anyone have any additional information on the development of this app? I've had no reply from the people I tried to contact from the website.

Next week is NAB. The latest release of FirstLight has a number of adjustments to help the Gradiest, so watch this space...

Didn't know there was going to be a new release of First Light announced. Looking forward to seeing what's coming...

Any news on this? Blogs are not reporting anything from CF yet. Saw a small goPro video on freshDv but nothing on Cineform.

I've also noticed the NeoHD link on CineForm's website is gone from the products page. Does this mean that something is to replace it, or will people be forced to buy Neo4K to get First Light?

Hopefully they enable NeoHd or a new equivalent to encode 444 at 1080p. It's difficult to justify $1000 for 444 encoding. Apple is getting aggressive with pricing as we saw yesterday.

Nothing new has been announced so far. I was expecting some sort of announcement, perhaps just small updates to their existing software. And perhaps some news on what will replace NeoHD, if anything will?

Looks like they've finally updated the website. The replacement for NeoHD and Neo4K is just called Neo. It costs just $300 and offers up to 4K and RAW workflows with all the features of both. Looks like now is the perfect time to buy...
