Anyone know if I can put multiple bitrate files (all AVC) on a bluray image? So far, DVDA seems to want to re-encode everything to a common bitrate .. I'd like to burn one disk (4.7 gig media) with multiple bitrates of the same video for testing purposes.
but, when I add those different files (all sony AVC template encoded), DVDA is flagging them all for video re-encode and I can't change it on those files (e.g. sometimes DVDA seems to let one override the recompress setting).
and, the odd thing is that when I click on the recompress reason, the text tells me I can avoid recompress by using the proper MPEG file, when I selected AVC for the BD project .. can't tell whether it's just a bad text message (my guess) or something else going on ..
does the concept of multiple title sets exist in BD so that if I put each bitrate file on a different menu, DVDA might be able to author that disk?
any suggestions welcomed!
note I've posted this on the sony forum but no replies
