Hello everyone,

I have a couple that has booked me to shoot a love story to show at their reception, they met in High School and got permission to shoot the video in the actual classroom that they met in. The catch is that they want to inject some comedy into their video. I'm having trouble coming up with ideas. I think I'll have them passing notes to each other and things like that, but what would be really funny? Do you guys have any suggestions? I'd also love it if there are any humorous Love Stories online that you could direct me to for inspiration. I've been looking, but everything I am finding is romantic and not really comedic!

If it helps, they are also planning on having some friends get involved, so there are other people available to pitch in besides the couple.

have you got the couple talking about past experiences that could be re-written in a classroom setting? If you can pull off of past experiences it will mean more to them and be fun for them to relive.

Thanks for the comment. I do have them talking about how they met, but they want to fictionalize it to make it funny, which is where I am having trouble. We are shooting in the classroom they actually met in, but they want to shoot a fictional story of how they met. It's kind of a weird dichotomy that I'm trying to wrap my head around.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Also, if you can direct me to a humorous love story online that would be great too!

some random ideas

have them play with fantasies....
imagining the other one in a different way...
have them dress funny...older..younger...clowns...1980s..
have them play with throwing thing..a war of books...
have them act like each other in a funny way...
have them do things backwards...
slow motion..(can be funny)
