It has been years since I shot with an XL1s and edited in FCP. I use Macs, own FCP and the full Adobe Creative Suite, have an external Blue Ray burner and just received my XA10. I wanted something easily transportable with the best combination of pro features and small size. I plan to acquire a three chip camera in the future. Meanwhile, I am grossly ignorant of settings for HD recording (although I like the look of 1080P at 24fps), and need coaching on when to use what settings, and coaching on how to move the files to my computer for editing and output. Would someone please recommend materials, if they exist, that I would find helpful. I am happy to invest a serious amount of time in the learning process. Thanks
