Hello guys and gals,

I am having issue seeing an entire clip that I copied from one of my Wedding DVD. I have ripped the DVD in a .vob file, which I know Premiere and Media Encoder see. BUt the clips are only coming out to be 34 seconds long, the Clip is actually about 45 mins. Any ideas on what I am missing here? Thanks

Try using MPEGStreamclip on Mac or Vobrator on PC to extract m2v streams from VOB files or demux them to mpg file. This should solve it.

So am I simply running this app on the .vob in question? I dont see many options to 'Save As' a particular file?

Vobrator: open a vob file and select "demux"

MPEGStreamclip: file -> demux -> m2v+aiff

They will extract the streams as separate files and it will play seamlessly in PPro.

If you are running on a pc, copy the von file to a hard drive and change the file extension from *.vob to *.mp2.
