Hi ,, im newbie in using Canon 7d, hope u all can help me,,
i just bought audio technica ATR 6550 shotgun external mic , hope it can get better audio than internal mic .

then try to test it,,
i pluged into camera , then record the video, im sure the recording audio is on,,
when i playback ,,the sound isnot comin out ,,it just silence ,,
also when i transfer the videoFile ,, i playback using mediaplayer ,,theres no sound,

is there somthin wrong about my setup ??

originally the cable is 3.5 minijack Mono ,,
i wonder if i must using 3,5 stereo female to male cable ,,is that the problem ??
