Hi there,

I have footage that was shot via the nanoFlash in XDCAM 422 1080 25p @ 100Mb/s I-Frame.
When I drop it into FCP, I match sequence settings to the clip, and the data rate is maintained at 100Mb/s, however when I export it compresses to XDCAM's max of 50Mb/s.

Is there a way to edit the compressor limits so I can export at 100Mb/s?

It's possible I may not be understanding the exact process, so any help is greatly appreciated!

If you don't render your sequence, the file, although nominally 50Mbps, will keep the original 100Mbps.
If you render the resulting file will be 50Mbps.
No workaround.

Set up a ProRes timeline and when FCP asks you if you want to change it to match your clip say no. 100 Mbps Nanoflash files should work fine within a ProRes timeline. That way the export render will be a high quality. If it's 100 Mbps I frame I'd pick ProRes LT or 422 and if it's 100 Mpbs Long GOP I'd pick 422 (HQ) to maintain the quality.
