Has anyone any experience with them? I've read and seen some very incouraging reviews on them for the price. Any recommended suppliers? I've sent the company an email to see if they sell directly....no reply

If my thoughts are correct, then you may find E-Image easier to find. ProAV in the UK pushes these hard: Tripod Kits - Tripods & Supports - Proactive (http://www.proav.co.uk/Tripods-Supports/Tripod-Kits/sc497_c489_br1119.aspx) I have seen at least one review of an E-Image tripod on these forums (search should help), and I think it linked to a Youtube video review. I can't help but think that there must be something in my Sachtler or Vinten tripods that makes the extra money over these worthwhile, but I do know that some people are perfectly happy with the Weifengs. (I probably wouldn't be happy, but then it has been pointed out that I'm never happy!) Peter Harman March 17th, 2011, 12:37 PM Yep, this is otherwise known as E-Image Brian Luce April 1st, 2011, 11:02 AM Most people seem pretty happy with them. The are sold under several different brands. Supposedly they're the biggest manufacturers on the planet. George Logothetis April 4th, 2011, 02:37 AM got the wf-717. Really stiff pans though... Any head recommendations? Brian Luce April 4th, 2011, 03:18 AM Not saying this is the best thing to do but some that complain of stiff heads split the head open and put a different kind of grease in it. Supposedly not hard to do. |
