I've purchased the Century wide angled adapter (0HD-08CV-JKT) and now looking for a suitable hood for it. Has anyone used the adapter with a hood they can recommend?

Battle Vaughan March 15th, 2011, 10:56 PM Perhaps this would work, but I'm not positive: Century Precision Optics DSFA8200 Rectangular 0DS-FA82-00 B&H B&H has good tech support, you could ask them if it would work.... Mike Bailey March 26th, 2011, 07:53 PM Thanks Myles, I found the same hood after some research and received it last week. Your pics helped me orientate the hood the correct way. Makes the camera look very sharp as well! Myles Williams March 26th, 2011, 08:19 PM I have a polarizer on order for it too! Cant wait ! I shot this with the wide angle on the Canon 14x lense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfI-m_jyhU8 Myles Mike Bailey March 31st, 2011, 01:50 PM Very Nice. Very clean 24p. Was the footage colorized? I'm interested in a polarizer as well. Trying to get over the price of Century's filter holder. Do you have a solution? Myles Williams April 1st, 2011, 10:00 PM Thanks ! That was the first time I spent 6 hrs with 10 models and just shot them. The back lit window was a real challenge. I will probably re edit some of this. But thanks. This one with the same lense but totally wish I had the polarizer. Lake Petersburg on Vimeo I ordered a 4x4 polarizer that you cant rotate. Actually the guys I buy my equipment from ordered it. Other wise I would have to get one of the following: 68-013002 102MM LIN TRUE-POL NON-ROTATE $360.00. Optional French Flag 0DS-MBFF-210 FRENCH FLAG FOR MB-210 W/HINGE List $150, Mike Bailey April 4th, 2011, 12:27 PM Thanks for the reply. Your footage looks great regardless if you didnt have a polarizer I'm looking to add filter and/or polarizer in the slot provided on the Century sunshade--it will accept a 4x4 filter. It looks like you're committed in having more control over your visuals wilth the potential of adding more than one filter. |
