I'm doing a presentation Wednesday to a large group interested in DSLR videography.

I have a slide that talks about video terms - and I remember a discussion long ago somewhere about how different regions might have different terms for the same thing. Like out WEST something might be called an X but on the EAST coast the same item might be called a Y.

Anyone have any examples or have things gotten so homogenious over the years that this stuff is fading away?
