I'm not being metaphorical. I just had a kid! His name is Indiana Stephen Rench.

I put together a little one and a half minute snippit of the footage I took while at the hospital. We call him Indy :)

VIDEO (http://www.bohoc.org/indy/vids/Indy%20DVD%20SequenceDVD_NTSC_Lg0021Mbps_Stream.wmv) a bit over 7mb

Congratulations! May he grow up to be a great filmmaker. Or at the very least chase the Ark of the Covenant all the way around the world.

Congratulations. Your wife must share your sense of humor. What a wonderful way to go through life! With a woman who can laugh with you.

What happens when your kid is old enough to find out that Indiana was the name of the Jones family dog?

haha. I loved the name Indiana ever since I saw the movie. For years and years I always said I wanted to name my son, if I had a son, Indiana. Everyone said, "HA! Good luck finding the woman that will let you do that!" Well, as you can see...

Congratulations Adam!

Indeed, just love the movies :-p
The part where they talk about his name in the last crusade is one of my favorite parts!
Great with the music, I can already imagine him with the hat!

Congratulations. Parenthood is a life changing experiance. Sleep whenever you can. I've been at it for 4 years and sleep is still hard to come by.

As an aside, I am working on my BA in Anthro/Archaeologyin preparation for an eventual Phd. and I attended the Notre Dame Archaeology field school this year, and participated in the excavation of a Middle Woodland period mound in- you guessed it, Indiana. One of the younger guys on the dig had indy's bag and hat, i believe he got them from the site above.

You know your child will grow up hating Indiana Jones, in the same way my son James Tiberius hates Trek. Congratulations!

I hope he learns to like Indiana Jones movies (well at least the 1st and 3rd ones, hehe).
