I hope I am not asking an often-repeated question, but I have learned an expensive lesson once and am trying to avoid a repeat. With your help.
Some time ago I bought (on advice from my graphic-designer-Mac-user daughter) an older Mac G5 with double 2.5Ghz PPC processors. I couldn't afford a newer version, but wanted to buy Final Cut Pro to edit a load of video footage from two shows, a motor race and several choir concerts. FCP was looking too expensive so I checked on a Mac website and found that the new Adobe Premiere Elements 9 was an ideal choice as it has a user licence for a pc and a mac. So I bought it.
Sadly, having bought the software I was not able to return it when I found that was not possible to load the software as it requires a Mac with Intel processors.
So, finally to my question: Can I run any version of FCP on my Mac? FCP 6? Where can I buy a copy?
HELP!!
