Of the few portable sliders I have seen that are programmable, I haven't seen any that have programmable pan or tilt....is this a redundant or useless feature or are they out there?

I build custom dolly's and it is not hard to add programable servos for pan/tilt, and travel of course. It just costs more.

There are many choices. The most advanced are programmed with a laptop.
