What would have been reallycool is if they put the same adapter port on the battery pack, so you could stack the extra battery AND the LCD back at the same time.

You just answered my question :(

LCD Bacpac + Battery BacPac = non-starter.

That's a real shame.

The mounting systems barely handle the mass of the camera let alone 2 more accessories.
I guess it depends on the user application.

Some little known info on the Battery BacPac

01. Does the Bat-Pac USB plug charges both GoPro battery or only the one on the Bat-Pac when Bat-Pac is plugged into a GoPro ?
USB Port on BacPac will only charge BacPac Battery, not the camera itself, and the camera's USB port will only charge the Camera's Battery.

02. Are the two batteries technically being paralled or the unit can choose to use the camera battery first and the Bac-Pac battery after that or how ?
They are run one at a time, not in parallel. The camera discharges the BacPac first, then when this is depleted it uses the camera battery.

03. Is it a must that both batteries must be fully charged before installing one in camera and one in Bat-Pac ?
The batteries can be at any charge state as long as they are not both drained, and you should be fine.
