I just bought a Canon VIXIA HV40 but for client reasons I need to go tapeless (long story).

To that end, what tapeless equivalent of the VIXIA HV40 would you recommend? (Similar specs/price). As a caveat I'd like to stick with the Canon brand.

Best: Canon XA10 (http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/camcorders/professional_camcorders/xa10) -- about $2000
