Does anyone know a way to do the stop motion of the floating skateboard?

Don't know how THEY did it, but you can take a sequence of still images and then make a video from them; Quicktime Pro does this, for example. Sort of like Claymation, the outfit that did animated clay sculptures that were popular several years ago. You could import a bunch of stills into your NLE or Adobe After Effects also.

I think you're just asking how to do the first couple seconds where the board is flying down right?

Maybe they used very fine fishing line? Or used string or rods and painted them out of each image?

This sure looks like painstaking stop-motion photography.

Look at the lower left where the non-skid is applied to the board. There's a shadow creeping across the corner of the frame.

Yes Stan I think thats what he used. That or clear plastic blocks, but fishing line seems to be the case.
