Hi all - so I've a booking in afew months where there's a surprise reunion between son and mother (son coming over from Oz) - I'm racking my brain for a good contemporary song that starts fairly steady but comes in with a powerful emotive chorus - I realy would like something modern rather than an old classic as it's just my style.

Tall order - Any ideas? - I want to really generate some tears here!

Yes - it just doesn't have the right vibe for me - need something powerful and emotive, but modern - Chris Daughtry's 'Home' is close but it's about lovers and not parent/child so the lryic's not really appropriate - it's close to the sort of thing I'm after though
