Hi all:

I sold my HVX200 to a friend a few years ago and they have been happy with it. They want to buy some
E-Series cards to use with it. Will they need some sort of firmware update to use E-Series cards with an original HVX200? (not an HVX200A). I recall doing a firmware update when the A and R Series 16GB cards started shipping but I had already sold it when the E-Series cards came out so I don't know if they will work with that camera or if that camera will need a firmware update to use the E-Series cards?

Any advice?

Firmware updates are usually easy to find on the Panasonic site. Depending on what firmware is on the camera already it is likely they would want to upgrade if going with the E cards.
