Looking for some details on setting my cameras for mixing footage from a GH2 and HDV. I have a Sony FX7 and Canon HV30 I'd like to shoot with a GH2 -- I use FCP for editing. Assumption is that I need to shoot at the same frame rate (and shutter speed) with all cameras for consistency, unless I want some sort of effects or headaches. The Canon and Sony have 30fps so no major issues there as far as frame rates but the GH2 doesn't have 30fps, it has 60i and 24p in AVCHD -- 30p in Motion JPEG.
Should I shoot with the GH2 in 24p at 80% to get 30fps? Will that screw up audio appreciably (out of sync lips, etc.)? Or, is there better ways of doing this?
Feel free to point me somewhere with the info. I've searched the net and only found bits and pieces.
Thanks!
