I recently purchased a Zoom H1 to be used at weddings and events that I photograph. Can someone recommend a good Omni Lav Lapel mic that is technically compatible with the Z1.

The Rode lavalier mic works with the H1, and I believe that this is also the case for their pin-mic (http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/all-things-audio/490438-rode-pinmic-song.html) product.

I have the same question but I want something like the VT-500 Voice Technologies or Sanken level of clean audio for lapel mics, but the connector doesn't fit securely. Can you splice in the correct pin connector for the H1 or would you recommend I go the opposite route with Lectrosonics 100 Series to be able to use a high quality mic?

I use my audio for weddings only and I'm wondering if Lectrosonics is better solution or can a high quality mic with the H1 be just fine?

If I get the Lectrosonics 100 Series - Wireless UHF Lavalier Microphone System then I would just stick with the mic it comes with??
