I am having some issues that have caused some to suggest I uninstall then reinstall Vegas Pro 10. This was an uprgrade I did online at Sony so I do not have a CD of the program.
If I uninstall do I just go to Sony Creative Software and download the trial version then plug my license number to it? Or is there something else I need to do?

You shouldn't have a problem. I purchased the download version and have done the same. All you need is your valid serial numbers for Vegas Pro and DVD Architect.
I don't remember if I need the serial numbers for the reinstall.

You can get 10.0a, b or c from Sony Creative Software Downloads /current/ (http://download.sonymediasoftware.com/current/)
After that, all you need is your serial number which you get from the Sony site at Sony Creative Software - Vegas video - ACID & Sound Forge audio editing (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/)
Log in and go to My Account - My Software.

The uninstall / reinstall worked like a charm. When I installed the demo version from the Sony software site it prompted me to put in the license if I had it and when I did it recognized it without any problem.

The "demo" and the "real" versions are exactly the same. They only have one download. You simply unlock the "demo" with serial number and it becomes the "real" version.
