at times i find myself cutting up found-footage. perhaps just for editing practice as much as anything else.
music-video can be a nice genre for such exercises as it's quite open but relies heavily on rhythm and structure.

the footage was shot by Eisenstein during a trip to Mexico in 1931.
i'm curious to read what anyone thinks of this!
