I came across this article:

Report: Studios use iTunes to fight Oscar movie piracy | Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal (http://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2011/01/28/Report-studios-use-itunes-to-fight.html?)

"About $25 billion is lost every year because of movie piracy...

...much of that involves movies sent by studios to voters for awards such as Oscar and Golden Globe."

Sounds like the movie industry is the problem! ; )

Maybe the studios should stop sending DVDs to voters and let the independents win. Happens anyway.

It's a bit rich coming from the industry that practically invented "Hollywood accounting (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_accounting)".

Which reminds me: we must all remember to talk like pirates (http://www.talklikeapirate.com/) every September 19th.
