I though I had read somewhere that there was a plug in that offered pre built film strip looking frames and all a person needed to do was drop their own still or video images into the open framed areas to create a floating film strip looking effect.

Is there anything like this out there?

I'm not sure that the Digital Juice products provide the simple Drop Zone stile templates for that particular type of effect.

I seem to recall there being some type of plug-in that provided such a function automatically within Apple Motion, and it was created by a developer named Peter Wiggins. I'm not sure if he's still distributing it though.

You also might look into something like this CineFest plug-in.
