Do you know if the basic F3 mount will have a back focus adjustment?
If not do any of these adapters have them?

Also will it be pretty fast to switch the lens adapters so that if you want to switch say between a Nikon and a PL lens it will be nearly as fast as switching 2 of the same type lenses?

The MTF nikon adapter says that you can turn something on the mount that will adjust the aperture. Does that mean you can adjust aperture on modern SLR lenses that don't have manual aperture rings? If so that will be extremely cool and make possible use of some of the new inexpensive APS-C lenses like the Tokina 11-16.

Even though I'm Canon-centric at this point, I still have some excellent Nikon lenses, but not any Canon FD ones - so maybe those Nikons will get a new life . . .

Good question. The F3 does have a fairly straight forward way of mechanically adjusting flange depth. I'll have to wait for the final version of the camera to talk about how to do it, but it works well. You could quickly switch between Nikon and PL on the camera, though any precise flange depth adjustments would need to be done with a tool for depth measurement. However considering that Nikon lenses generally do not have precise distance measurement I think this should not be a problem. The backfocus adjustment on the camera will guarantee proper measurements with your PL glass, and switching to Nikon would take a matter of seconds.

Yes this is exactly what it will do with Nikon mount glass. I actually tried the Tokina 11-16mm lens (Nikon mount) on the AF100 with a similar adapter today. The aperture is fully adjustable, though you cannot see exactly what stop you are at. Very cool indeed.

Yes. It will work with all Nikon mount lenses, and the aperture will adjust too. :)

For F3 users looking at compact, light and fast lenses, the MTF Nikon adaptor with Nikon DX and Sigma EX lenses looks pretty promising.
