I just tried to ingest some footage from an SxS card to FCP using XDCAM Transfer...but no thumbnails are showing up. The actual footage is there in the main window if i click on each segment...just no thumbnail - which makes scene selection a bit problematic.

Any ideas why this is happening and or how to fix it.

I have not gotten around to DL'ing the new transfer software so I need to make this work for the time being.

Update XDCAM Transfer to 2.12.

Got it...and the problem is indeed solved. BTW am I the only one who has a hell of a time downloading stuff from the sony site. Pages won't load. Stalling. A real PITA. It took me about ten tries to finally get the software to DL.

IMHO Sony Pro Sites can be a real mess. The USA site has serious problems. It doesn't work properly in some browsers (Safari for example) due to design issues. The links to the files are sometimes hard to find and often mislabeled.
