View Full Version : CES 2011 - any new Canon camcorders? Stephen Sobel December 31st, 2010, 02:36 PM Has anyone heard any rumors as to whether or not Canon will unveil or announce any new camocrders at next weekend's CES show? Chris Hurd December 31st, 2010, 02:51 PM We don't bother with "rumors" on DVi nor do we allow links to camera rumor sites because they're most often wrong and therefore counterproductive to the pre-purchase research process. Canon *always* introduces new camcorders at CES. Of course we'll have all the details -- real info, not rumors -- very soon when CES fires up next week. Only a few more days to go. Michael Galvan January 1st, 2011, 05:23 PM I'll be going to CES again this year on assignment with NBC. Since I'll have my equipment with me then, I'll try to shoot video and such of the new camcorder announcements from Canon. Canon (and mostly all manufacturers) release their new consumer models every year at CES, so I don't see this year being any different. Stephen Sobel January 1st, 2011, 05:24 PM Thanks! I look forward to any videos you post!! Thanks! I noticed on one of the menus it showed something about an ND filter. Do you know any details on what options there are for ND settings on the XA10? Michael Galvan January 12th, 2011, 10:20 PM The option is to turn it off, or have it on auto, like how it is used in the current HV/HFS cameras. Hope this helps. Stephen Sobel January 13th, 2011, 06:22 PM Yes it does. Thanks! Lee Mullen January 21st, 2011, 07:57 AM Again, wait until the end of the year before prices become reasonable. |
