I don't know if this has been noted already, but every time I hook up my 7" monitor through the HDMI port, the "Tele-conv", "Digital Zoom", and "Rec-Mode" become grayed-out. I would understand the Digital zoom not working, but it seems like you can NOT use the Tele conv function altogether when you have a monitor hooked up through the HDMI out... Could be this due to the processor speed?

Anybody? Any comments or suggestions (or, am I doing something wrong?)

I don't think you're doing anything wrong, I've seen multiple references to this feature not being available over HDMI.....bummer.
