I would like to extreme slow motion, some short shots in a small project under way at present. I want to go the Twistor route rather than 1280 x 720 @85P in order the preserve as much apparent resolution as I can, also to achieve a slower apparent playback speed.
I downloaded the Twixtor demo and installed it. It shows up in the available effects, can be drawn across to the selected clip on the timeline and the effect controls can be found and adjusted. Something begins to happen because the demo watermark appears on the timeline monitor screen.
However upon any attempt to create a preview or export, the progress bar gets about as far as 0.1% and no furthur, stalls Premiere, which then has to be closed brutally with no project save happening as would with old PP2 when things went pear-shaped.
Has anyone been able to get Twixtor, CS5 and Neo4K to cohabit peacefully. I don't think it is a cineform issue as CS5 with XDCAM EX footage also does not render or export.
Any advice would be grreatly appreciated.
