Comes with the official Canon HC-4200 case which has some scratches/dings but there is NO damage whatsoever on the camera and it is in perfect working order. I'm selling the camera because I haven't been using it as of late now that I'm in class full time.

I have one that is in perfect clean but used condition. It has seen almost no use since I bought my 4,7x12 Canon SD lens. I only use it in the rare circumstances I need the tele-range of it so I would seriously consider selling it at a reasonable price. Here are the things you need to know about this particular camera, what I would want to know if I bought a used camera:
I am a meticulous person who takes care of things and treats my equipment very well.
This camera was purchased from B&H Photo as a B-Camera for a feature production. We ended up using it for a few shots, all indoors. I have used it on and off since then, but it has recorded only a total of 12 hours since the day it was purchased. Its literally brand new.
I took it into the LA service center in 2009 to get the firmware update so that it can use non SxS media. (I am including 2 readers)
I have always kept it in a padded case and always treated it like it was worth a million dollars.
I purchased the extended Sony 3 year warranty. So you should be able to use it if it transfers. If it doesn't and you have a problem, I will be happy to call them for you after the purchase. If you want to call Sony, the start date was 06/15/2008 and its a Sony ServicesPlus Service Agreement...

OpTex, a British optical company, made this beautiful,versatile wide angle lens adapter kit designed for XL-1/XL1S 16x (standard) and 3x (wide) autofocus zoom lenses. The kit cost over $1300 new. This is not plastic junk, these are multicoated optical glass elements of very high quality, and they're in perfect condition.

It's like getting two wide-angle adapters in one: a .7 wideangle and a .5 fisheye for your XL-1/XL-2. I believe this also fits the XL-H1 stock lens, but I can't confirm because I don't have one.

Detailed description:

OpTex Wide Angle Optic set comprises two 0.7x optics and an 89.1mm clamp ring to fit onto the front of 3x and 16x Canon XL Lenses. One 0.7x element increases angle of view by 30%, two elements by 50%.

It's a three-part system: a clamp-on adapter that mates with the XL1 lens, which then screws onto the rear .7x element, which in turn can be screwed into into another .7x front element (by way of a 93mm screw thread).

You can use just the rear element alone for a .7x wide angle factor, or use both together for the ultra-wide .5x total factor.

If you are resourceful you could probably find a step-down ring to mate this lens to another camera, but I don't know exactly what you would need.

Comes with front and rear caps. Glass is in flawless condition.
