The GH2 is by some accounts that latest game changer for video -- a title it will surely own for at least the next few weeks. Anyway, happy to report, that GH2 footage DOES seem to play smoothly in the Vegas 10 timeline. No stuttering or crashing and backfiring. This is on a i7 Dell quad core. YMMV.

I plan on renting first and eventually purchasing a a GH1/GH2 some day.
