Earlier today I shot some video on my GH1 and just now I went to move them from the SD card to the computer and, well, they aren't there.
When I put the card back into the camera I see a lot of "The file cannot be played back" errors. I'm guessing this means I'm sol?
Card is a Transcend 16GB Class 10.
So am I really sol???
Thanks.

I was able to recover the lost files using TestDisk - CGSecurity (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk)

Occasionally these cards will corrupt the file allocation table. Sometimes it's due to the user removing them while a write is going on, or similar. Also is incompatibilities between the SD card controller and the camera can cause this. This is software out there that can unscramble the problem.
The card controlleris embedded in the SD card and essentially manages read/writes to the card.
To reduce the possibility of issues, always use the latest firmware on your camera. Also, if you do encounter a card that works in some devices but not others, contact the manufacturer. This is generally always a warranty issue.
