Having no experience with this camera or any other video dslr's, (though may years with traditional video cameras), and having about zero time to get any experience, I'm looking for some pointers. Shooting a 2 hour musical on a fairly well-lit stage, (though some areas will be a bit dark and leads will be occasionally spotlighted.) The camera will be a wide-shot lockdown and un-supervised.
I'm 'assuming' that the shutter should stay at 60 as I'm shooting at 60i to match/sync with the FX-1. For auto adjusting that leaves me with arpeture and iso changes to keep the camera at a good exposure. However, there seems to be no limit on the iso in movie mode and I wouldn't want a whole show to be shot at iso 3200. And if I leave it in full auto exposure, I'm not sure if the shutter speed changes to compensate for exposure and if that will mess with the video. Newbie worries, you get the idea...
Anyway, suggestions would be appreciated.
