I am bidding a job where I will be using the XF-305, HD-SDI output into a switcher as the main camera. The second camera my client will provide and it will be a Sony HVR-Z1U, which means I will be taking the component out of it into a switcher.

Anyone used these 2 together and how did they look?

Any recommendations - like should I drop the recording down to 25Mbps (CBR) 4:2:0, 1440x1080 to better match the Sony when I record from the XF-305? I want to back up each camera as well as record the output from the switcher.

Anything else I should look for?
