I have enough money for both but if the beachtek can do better or just as good as juicedlink then why spend the other hundred dollars? Anyone with experience please let me know your opinions
View Full Version : juicedlink vs beachtek? Anyone with experience please let me know your opinions Chad Johnson December 10th, 2010, 08:08 PM JuicedLink has less noise. It's a quieter piece of gear. That's big. Also JuicedLink can actually add gain, helping you to get your signal louder than the mic. Most Beachteck units are passive, meaning you can only turn the signal down from mic level. Another cool thing about JuicedLink is that they are switchable between mic and line level. Beachteck is only mic level. There are some tests on the JuicedLink YouTube page that show how much more hiss the Beachteks have. And tell me that the sign-off bit at the end of the videos doesn't remind you of Ferris Bueller. (example here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMFnMpFjM3U&feature=player_embedded)) :-P Andrew |
