I have had the EX1 for a few years and I have tested most of it's features except the USB connection interface.

So I put in an SxS card with some video data on it into the camera and connected it via USB to my laptop. The camera said USB (Cancel or Execute) so I executed.
It was recognized as a Sony PMW-EX1 immediately by my laptop and the BPAV folders were displayed. So it worked.

However, on the camera is said USB Connecting and stayed that way the entire time.

Is that normal? The manual seems to suggest that it is, but I would still appreciate a confirmation.
