Hi folks,
I'm interested in using the Nanoflash as a compact and cost-effective SDI pool recorder.
Has anyone used them in this scenario?
Can they be set to record regardless of feed interruptions etc? (ie a deck such as an HVR 1500 will just keep recording black if a feed is interrupted - essential in an environment where one doesn't control everything).
Can you see the timecode in the window during recording, and is it large enough to log from? (Obviously they'd be plugged in to monitors too).
I'm renting one for a couple of days to test it for myself, but I'd really appreciate it if anyone has an experience themselves that they could share.
Tape decks are big, heavy, expensive and costly in excess baggage, but producers like them, surely there's got to be a bullet-proof and cost-effective tapeless solution!
Cheers,
James
