When developing a picture profile for the Ex-1R and Ex3 or scene files for the 320 and saving them to camera memory, must they be recalled each time the camera is powered off and then back on?
I shoot for over 4 hours and from time to time turn the camera off to save the batteries and time on the camera. If I am using a picture profile or scene file will I have to reload the picture profile/.scene file each time?
Thanks

The EX cams will store as many as six different PPs.
They can be retreived without reference to any file storage on the media card.
It's good to keep a copy of the SUF on a card, or even a copy on your computer, just for back up, but it is not necessary in order to load a previously configured PP.

Hi Ronnie,
The EX1R starts up with the last used picture profile as the active profile, so no, you don't have to recall it from memory or card.

Thanks folks for the info.... I hope the same for the Ex-3 and 320 as well.....
I am still working on matching the Ex-1R-EX-3 and the PMW320 without much success... blind leading the blind here..... so many settings on the 320..
Hopefully, when I hit on a look that is common to all three cameras I can store the info in the camera memory and then they will all be on the same page each time.
Thanks again
Ronnie
