I have an issue I'm running into with a project that's Apple ProRes 422.
I have a 20 minute ceremony. All of the footage is Apple ProRes 422, and when I dragged the footage into the timeline, I said yes to changing the sequence to match the clip settings.
For some reason, after adding nothing other than some simple gamma filters and color correctors, it takes 7 HOURS to render a 20 MINUTE ceremony!
My sequence settings:
1920x1080 HDTV 1080i (16:9)
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
Field Dominance: None
Editing Timebase: 29.97
Compressor: Apple ProRes 422
A couple things under Render Control:
Codec: Same as Sequence Codec
Render Quality: Best
Something definitely cannot be right. The only weird thing I can think of is that my second angle was shot in HDV, but I converted those clips to the same format as my other clips.
Any ideas????
Thank you :)
