Hey folks, this is my attempt at a last minute decision to pull a luma key using the color corrector (secondary) effect and some masking.
YouTube - Elance Cloud Commute (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSr6rIYCB1E)
We shot this 1-minute video against a white wall, and then afterwards I decided that even though I want to keep the background white I would really like some subtle movement in the background. At first I kicked myself for not shooting against a green screen, but then common sense prevailed and I decided to try my hand at luma keying. So I duplicated the track, masked out the face, and keyed out the white wall. The dark hair made a decent contrast so it worked! My very first attempt too! Haven't played around much with luma key before, but will do so now!
What do you guys think?
