I've been lurking on this site for a month or so now and finally got approved to post. I'm interested in getting some feedback on my work. I started shooting weddings this year for some extra cash and fun (I primarily do legal video so I need some creativity in my life!). My friends, family and clients all seem to love my work but I'd like to get opinions from people who actually know good video.

My gear is limited and my mics are poor but I'm acquiring new and better equipment as I go along. Let me know what you think about this ceremony that I shot in September. I appreciate it!

I thought I embeded the video but I guess I didn't. I'll have to figure that out but the mean time, here's a link: Videos Posted by Madison Street Productions: Liz & Roland Finch [HD] | Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1552323459448)

Hi Leslie,

That link doesn't seem to work. Just thought I'd let you know!

Hey Leslie...

Not bad for your first wedding. You seem to be at all the right places at all the right times. I thought you did a great of painting the ambiance of the day, ie, capturing the strings, ducks, ect. I pretty certain that most Bride and Grooms would be happy to have that as their highlight.
couple of pointers, the audio mixing was a little distracting to me... You could have faded the tracks together a bit better. There was also a bit to much pans and zooms... Other then that, great job.
Vimeo is the best place to embed your video, especially for sharing on this board. Check it out, it'll look great. Best of luck and look forward to seeing future work.

Thanks for the reply Steve. I'll definitely take your pointers into consideration for my next wedding.
