Hi all, i have a project where i've assembled my edit (basically chopped out the useless bits) and assembled a sequence
and the client now wants all those clips. That's fine with me only i'd like to give them ONLY the chopped down clips not the original files
Is there a simple way to do this using Final Cut?

Yep, head into Media Manager. You can find it under the File menu. You can use the Media Manager tool to copy over only the portions of clips that are in a specific sequence.
If you head to YouTube or do a quick Google search, there are a number of tutorials that will explain what everything in the Media Manager window will do, but that is definitely where you want to go.

Use Media Manager in Final Cut to copy the project (and the clips) into a new folder. This can be on an external drive. It's very simple but I would suggest that you check the copied project to make sure the files are all OK. Rarely, files with hidden problems that don't show themselves in normal editing, get copied strangely with Media Manager. Usually it's time code errors that cause Media Manager to grab the wrong section of the clip.
