I have some HD material that I want to burn on a DVD. How do I output letterboxed composite? "Squeeze" and "Crop" do what they suggest but I don't find a "letterbox" menu choice.

On Sony's product detail page for the 700 Sony Product Detail Page PDW700 (http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/product-PDW700/) it says:

Aspect Ratio Control The following conversion is possible in recording mode: Upconversion from SD to HD In the downconversion process from HD to SD, Squeeze / Edge Crop / Letter Box are available. In the upconversion process from SD to HD Squeeze / Edge Crop / Letter Box are available

then

OUTPUT Menu: Crop / Squeeze / Letterbox


if the general Letterbox parameter is disabled, the cam doesnt offer letterbox output.
