Heres a commercial I just finished a few hours ago for showing at digital cinemas in a mall. Shot in 3 days.
The 7D is pretty nimble enough for tough situations, on land and sea.
I can't imagine going back to my heavy shoulder mounted JVCs and lens adapter combo.

I also liked how the 80mm f1.9 mamiya 645 lens looked on the medium shots of people.
I "diy-ed" a lenscap and glued a lens mount to fit the canon.

Graded and edited in EDIUS, I'm also surprised how edius was able to pull more detail from highlights and shadows from the AVCHD files than in After Effects.

Hope you like beautiful girls in bikinis.. :-)

Hi Ted,

Thanks for sharing! Nice images, beautiful scenery, I think you captured it well.

Makes me want to get an HDSLR.

And makes me want to go to the Philippines (and I hope to this March :)

Best,

No problem Ted!

You probably know that Dallas is like another country from El Paso, since El Paso can really be in Texas, New Mexico, and Old Mexico :) But you're welcome to visit your wife in Texas!

We're probably going to be wrangled and roped in (spoken like a true Texan!) by family in Manila, but would love to visit some beaches too.

Best,

A short BTS video of the 7D in action, mostly shot by the models using a small sony cam I gave them to have fun with.

Strengthening our thrusts for the huge Chinese market, a lot of my work is being translated to Mandarin, this project poses challenges since the words I used are rather poetic and poses double meanings, but I guess the message is still there.

Heres how it looks with Mandarin Calligraphy.

Just viewed this on a huge digital cinema screen today and I'd say... wow.

Beautiful. We had the sequential Tiffs and 48 khz audio track transcoded into a compliant files for the projection server.

I figured I was watching what the guys at the Zacuto shootout saw.

Heres a pic to give you guys an idea of the theater size. Its a 39 X 19 foot screen.
