I'm wondering the best way to bring in image files that originate as photoshop files. When I bring them in the browser and drop into the timeline the canvas window turns to a red screen and prompts me to change the codec in sequence settings but none of the settings, (jpeg, pic, graphic, etc...) allow clear viewing in the timline. the source clip is perfectly clear but once it is dragged in the timeline it is heavily pixilated.


What's the problem?

If you get a CODEC NOT FOUND missing hardware check ALL your images in Photoshop and make sure there are in a RGB color space NOT CYMK, LAB, OR GREYSCALE

The best format for FCP is the raw .psd file. 300 dpi to allow for scaling and movies, if you need them.
