Prior to this short I was knee deep in shooting my first feature length film. I had to shoot a huge large scale battle sequence for it and to make a long story short I watched the entire shoot fall apart before my eyes. Being utterly disgusted with the last shoot for my feature I needed a way to cut loose and redeem myself and what better way to do so than a zombie film!
I shot this in a period of two days about 5 hours in total went into filming it. It was originally intended to be a one day shoot but the State Police decided to cut the shoot short. We had to do a little bit of breaking and entering to attain the first location. Which, looking back was probably a bad move.
Regardless, I got back on my feet re-wrote the script, found another location, and cranked this thing out just in time for halloween. Any and all criticism is highly welcomed there's always room for improvement!

It was shot on a JVC GY HD 100 cut in vegas and composited in after effects. It also pays heavy homage to Inglorious Basterds.
