A very quick test to see how the 7D would work with keying.

I used the LiteRing + Chromaflex rig from Reflecmedia.

The Litering was mounted via a step up ring onto the 15-85mm kit lens.

The footage was shot in 1080P at a shutter speed of 1/80 S.
