View Full Version : Where to get Vietnamese font for Vegas? Norris Combs October 16th, 2010, 03:13 PM Thank you, Seth Bloombaum October 16th, 2010, 03:23 PM I believe Vegas picks up any TrueType fonts that are in your Windows/Fonts folder. Bruce Phung October 16th, 2010, 07:26 PM Thank you, If you want to be able to write in Vietnamese, you will need to install Vpskey43 fonts (free) You will also need to know how to use the key board (Example , 1- 9 is your keys to write proper Vietnamse. Norris Combs October 16th, 2010, 08:45 PM I already have vpskey 4.3 and know how to use it. What I don't know is how to add what I write to the timeline. For English captions, I'm using the Pro Titler that comes with Vegas. How do I use the vpskey4.3 in Pro Titler? Thanks, Bruce Phung October 16th, 2010, 10:50 PM I have never used Pro titler, I use the regular text generate, I've used Vietnamese words on the timeline just fine, just as you would type on MS Words. But you can only use Arial front and Times New Roman to write Vietnamese word, all other don't seem to work. Lam Tran October 19th, 2010, 09:28 AM When you switch the vpskey to viet and picking the VPS[font], all of the softwares automatically kicks into viet font mode. if your software do not recognize it, you need to reinstall the software. I had this issue w/ vegas on 64bit win7. Norris Combs May 13th, 2013, 07:32 PM Hi, I'm able to type in VN in any word documents, but it just doesn't work on the Vegas timeline. I don't think this is specific to the VN font that I have. That font appears in the Windows/Fonts folder. Anybody has a guess on what I can do? Thanks, |
