Hi all, I am brand new to the camera end of the video business. As a first camera of my own, I chose to purchase a Panasonic AG-HMC150 due to the ease of use with both the media (SDHC cards) and the AVCHD format. I'm hoping to glean a great deal of knowledge from the experiences videographers on this forum.

Although not an expert by any means, I do have some experience with Adobe products and I'd say that I know Encore very well; Photoshop for touchups and menu creation; minimal experience with Premiere CS5 (although I can fumble away through most of the basics); and very minimal experience with AE CS5 (which I've only used for creating backgrounds for motion menus). As a result of a friend who is also on this forum, I've been dabbling with Edius 5.5 and although video engine seems to be more friendly, I am more comfortable maneuvering in PP.
